تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
Transliteration: Tabbat yadaa abee Lahabinw-wa tabb
Translation: May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he
مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Transliteration: Maa aghnaa ‘anhu maaluhoo wa ma kasab
Translation: His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
Transliteration: Sa-yaslaa naaran zaata lahab
Translation: He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame
وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
Transliteration: Wamra-atuhoo hammaa latal-hatab
Translation: And his wife [as well] – the carrier of firewood.
فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
Transliteration: Fee jeedihaa hablum mim-masad
Translation: Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
